Biography
I started at the Fox theatre as a volunteer usher myself in 2013 as soon as I found out that it was an option! My first event ever was a sold out Mary Poppins show, and I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for the rest of the run that weekend. I worked for two years as a volunteer usher for a variety of events, then came on event staff and became a supervisor for ushers during events. From there I moved into the Volunteer Coordinator position in 2017 as a natural transition because of my passion for the volunteer team and all things that they give to the theatre as a whole and to our guests on a daily basis. I briefly transitioned to group sales in 2019 until the theatre shut down, and then returned to the coordinator position when we reopened in 2021, spearheading the rebuilding and restructuring of the team as our doors re-opened to Atlanta. Our venue would operate so differently without our volunteers, and I've never taken that lightly. I'm so excited to become a part of a group of like-minded individuals in Volunteer Management that understand my care for the team that I have the honor of working with, and look forward to learning more and sharing anything that I can!
