GAVA and metro-Atlanta COVA are joining forces for the annual 2017 workshop, and we are changing it up!

The morning will include speakers from a variety of organizations and backgrounds to speak on key topics and issues in Volunteer Management. The second half of the day will be dedicated to a working group discussion on your experience as a volunteer administrator. Help us make this a productive session and give your input on what you would like to see!

Questions for Group Discussion:

  • How are volunteer administrators valued in their respective organizations? How does this contribute to desires to advance in the field?
  • Where are we going? With credentials like the CVA, where we would like to see the profession of volunteer administration head in the future? What part can we play in that?
    • Consider this Hot Topic from Susan Ellis written back in 1997:
    • What can COVAs across the state and GAVA  do to better support you as a volunteer administrator? What resources would you like to see?
