This presentation will provide an overview of Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory and how it applies to assisting you with volunteer placements. Often how we learn best determines how we serve best. You will have the opportunity to discover your own learning styles and the link between your chosen career and ways you choose to serve.

Bio: Rebecca L. Griffeth has a BS in Education and a Master of Church Ministries. She served several congregations of the United Methodist Church in Texas, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In addition to her ministry career, she served a hospital affiliated hospice program in South Carolina for eight years as Volunteer Coordinator. She currently works as an Associate Program Manager for Volunteer Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She has over ten years of experience educating and networking with other Volunteer Managers at state and national conferences via her consulting business.
